Stephen Guerette has been working in the demolition industry since 1982, thirty years! During this time Stephen has worked in many capacities such as equipment operator, job forman, superintendent, project manager and estimating as well as loss prevention and developing job site specific safety plans.
Stephen has worked on many different types of demolition projects including residential, institutional and industrial, retail and commercial, low rise and high rise construction of all types. RSG Contracting Corporation receives calls at the office often by local demolition Companies looking to hire Steve for difficult projects in the area where his knowledge and expertise is required. Stephen was called in by Manafort Bros./Tully Construction to work for them at Ground Zero for a portion of the demolition and recovery of the World Trade Center, Building #5 in November and December of 2001 as a demolition Specialist of heavy steel construction in urban areas. Stephen was also called to Florida by CDI (Controlled Demolition Inc.) when they required the skills of a professional crane operator to demolish two 180 foot smoke stacks in a live, operating power plant.
